CORONAVIRUS

Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice if you’ve visited or travelled through mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, or Thailand and have symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath within 2 weeks of returning, or if you have symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath after being in contact with someone with a confirmed case of coronavirus.

In Northern Ireland, please stay indoors and call the coronavirus 24/7 helpline on 0300 200 7885, even if symptoms are mild.

You can now order your repeat medications and book GP appointments online.  Ask at reception for more details on how to register for this service.

Home Visits

Doctor's bag

Home visits are for patients who are too ill or frail to attend the surgery. It is inappropriate to request a house call because of lack of transport or other non medical social factors.

Please try to request home visits by 10am. This allows the doctors to plan their calls efficiently. Urgent home visits be seen as soon as possible.

Please let the receptionist know if you feel your condition is urgent.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
