Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice if you’ve visited or travelled through mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, or Thailand and have symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath within 2 weeks of returning, or if you have symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath after being in contact with someone with a confirmed case of coronavirus.

In Northern Ireland, please stay indoors and call the coronavirus 24/7 helpline on 0300 200 7885, even if symptoms are mild.

You can now order your repeat medications and book GP appointments online.  Ask at reception for more details on how to register for this service.

Repeat Prescriptions

We now offer an on-line repeat order service.  Forms for registering for this service are available at reception.  You can then order your medication from your computer or smart phone.

The practice operates a 24-hour repeat prescription service. This service is for medications which have been authorised by the doctors to be taken on a regular basis.

ALL repeat prescriptions must be ordered by the patients themselves or their family member/carer.  If you want to your prescription delivered to a chemist please remember to tell the receptionist when ordering.

Repeat prescriptions will be ready for collection 2 working days after ordering (i.e. ordered Monday -ready after 17.00 Wednesday)

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Acute prescription

On occasions your condition may not require a consultation with a doctor, but you may wish to have a prescription. You should discuss this with the receptionist who will ask for further details about your condition. These will then be passed to the doctor who may then issue an acute prescription or advice.

Requests made before 12 noon will be ready for collection after 1.30pm.

Prescriptions ordered after 12 noon will be ready after 4.30pm.

Urgent prescriptions ordered after 4.30pm will be ready by 5.30pm.
